Auditions are required for music and education candidates.

Interviews are required for all Doctoral of Music and Arts candidates

Upon acceptance to the college, you must submit a $500 tuition deposit

Call the admissions office to schedule your registration appointment (which will allow you to schedule your classes)

Graduate programs at Five Towns College provide rich and rewarding opportunities for study at the Masters and Doctoral levels. These degree programs are registered by the New York State Education Department.

The Graduate Childhood Education Program provides qualified elementary school teachers with the opportunity to pursue a course of study leading to a Master of Science Degree (M.S.) in Education. The program emphasizes rigorous academic inquiry and practical experience in combination with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for success in schools that are culturally diverse, artistically challenging, and educationally complex.

The graduate music programs at Five Towns College lead to a Masters of Music degree (M.M.) and the Doctoral of Musical Arts (D.M.A) degree. The Music Education Program provides qualified teachers, who have achieved provisional/initial certification at the undergraduate level, the opportunity to earn a Master of Music degree (M.M.) leading to professional certification.

The program in Jazz/Commercial Music, leading to a Master of Music degree (M.M.) is offered with concentrations in Performance, Composition/Arranging, Music History, and Music Technology. The recording and music technology studios available on campus for instructional purposes are a major strength of the College.

The Graduate Division now accepts prospective candidates for newly registered programs in the fields of music performance, composition/arranging, music history and literature and music education leading to the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A). The degree is offered with an emphasis on jazz/commercial music in accordance with the mission of the college.
